    Parasitology : is study of parasite belonging to protozoa and helminthes.

    Parasite : is an organism that is entirely dependent on another organism referred to as ,host , for all part of its life cycle and metabolic requirement .

    Parasitism : is relationship in which parasite benefits and the host provide the benefit .

    Obligatory parasite: is one that must always live in contact with its host .

    Free living parasite :term use to describe the non parasitic stage of existence which are lived independent of the host
    .Protozoa :are unicellular eukaryotic microorganism lacking a cell wall and belonging to kingdom of protest

    Definitive host : is the host in which sexual reproduction take place .

    Intermediate host :is the host in which the asexual stage of parasite are found .

    Reservoir host : this an animal host serving as source from which other organism become infected

    . Cyst :is stage with protective membrane <<<<<< or is dormant protective form of some protozoa .

    Trophozoite : is vegetative form of a protozoan <<<<<<<<<<<< or feeding form of protozoan
    Pseudopodia : cytoplasmic extension produced by amoeba during locomotion .
    Undulating membrane : a highly modified flagellum produced by some protozoa .

    Vector : is an agent usually an insect that transmition infection from one human host to other .

    Direct life cycle : term use to describe parasite that need one host to complete the life cycle.

    Indirect life cycle : term use to describe parasite that need two host to complete the life cycle.

    Acto parasite :external parasite that live in the surface
    of skin <<or outside the host.

    Endo parasite :is parasite living inside the host
    .
    Decorticated egg : this term use to describe an egg that has no albuminous coat .

    Rabidity form : is first stage larvae that hatches from the egg , it is feed in soil .

    Flare form larva : infective stage , non feeding

    Swimmer itch : it is irritation and skin rach occur when schistsoma penetrate human skin.

    Katyma syndrome : is occur when schistosoma penetrate the human bladder ,associated with protein urea and haematouria .

    Cysticercus (bladder worm) : is larval stage found in intermediate host infect human , it consist of small fluoride bladder containing a single invigilated head

    .
    Oncosphere : is term use to describe an embryo with six hook lets .


    Malaria : mean bad air or bad environment

    .
    Accole shape : it is shape formed by some ring form when lie along the edge of RBCS mainly seen with P. falciparum
    .
    Hypnozoite : some of trophozoite of P.vivax and P.ovale after invading liver cell delay their development in to pre erethrocytic schizogony and become dormant , become active later and causing relapses .


    Ring form : young trophozoite are concave disk which appear ring shape because the ring of cytoplasm stain but the central food vacuole not stain .


    Haemozoin :is the end product of HB breakdown of trophozoite feed appear brown black granules .


    Recrudescence : is repeated malaria attack caused by P. malaria due to small number of erythrocyte forms of parasite persisting in the host ,possibly as a result of parasitic antigenic change .


    Chancer : is a pain full swelling can be seen at the site of inculcation when infected with African trypansomasis ,it contain trypomastigote ,and disappear after 10 days .


    Chagoma : is a pain full swelling can be seen at the site of inculation,and subcutaneous tissue when infected with T.crzi .


    Periodicity : is the time can be found microphlaria in greater number in peripheral blood .


    Sowda(black disease) :is an inflammatory in dermatitis ,,,,,also swada use to describe a severe allergic response usually with darkening of skin when infected with onchocerca volvulus .


    Tachyzoite (endozoite) : is active form of toxoplasma gondii usually seen in neutrophil or mononuclear cell.

    Bradizoite (cytozoite) : is in active form of toxoplasma gondii usually seen in muscle, in side tissue
